The Wimpire Foundation Financial Literacy & Empowerment Programme equips young people and communities with practical knowledge and skills to make informed financial decisions. The programme covers money management, budgeting, saving, banking, credit, interest, investing, entrepreneurship, financial goal-setting and long-term financial planning. Through practical learning and real-life examples, participants are empowered to build healthy financial habits, create opportunities and work towards financial independence.

👥 WHO IS THIS PROGRAMME FOR?
The Wimpire Foundation Financial Literacy & Empowerment Programme will begin with a pilot programme for 10 young participants between the ages of 13 and 21. By working closely with a small group of participants, we aim to deliver meaningful and practical financial education while learning, measuring outcomes and improving our programme approach.
A small and focused group allows for more meaningful participation, support and engagement.
The pilot programme is designed specifically to introduce young people to essential financial knowledge and practical life skills.

The Wimpire Foundation Financial Literacy & Empowerment Pilot Programme will be monitored throughout the 24-lesson journey to understand participant progress, measure outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Our first programme will serve as an important point of reference for future programmes, helping Wimpire Foundation build evidence of impact and strengthen its approach before expanding.
We will assess participants' understanding of key financial concepts before and after the programme.
We will monitor participants' ability to apply practical skills such as budgeting, saving, goal-setting and financial planning.
We will track attendance, participation and engagement throughout the 24 lessons.
Participants will have opportunities to share their experiences, lessons and suggestions for improving the programme.
